Valamia stands at a somewhat taller than average 7'6". She has dark purple skin, blue faintly glowing eyes and very curly burgandy hair. Her horns sweep out to the side and somewhere under the mass of hair she has two tendrils growing out from underneath each ear. She has a generally broad figure and underneath her armor still has a moderately toned body. While she won't be as solid muscle as others any attempt to "squish" her may find she's a bit more solid underneath than expected. Her tail is long and she is known to try and wrap it around her hips when she can. More info to come if/when needed.
History:

Valamia was born on Argus, the original Draenei home world some many many years ago. Daughter to a Peacekeeper, Feladiir, who wanted nothing to do with Mac'Aree and a simple merchant woman, Galeyna. Here she was the middle child with her older brother and younger sister. Her younger sister wasn't born until about a century before Sargeras and the Burning Legion began their massacre of the Draenei people and they were forced to flee with the aid of the Naaru. Prior to this momentous event in the history of the Draenei however she lived a relatively simple life. It consisted of acting out at times with her brother Tallir. These acts would consist of running into places they weren't meant to, taking sticks and beating each other with them, and other silly kids stuff. As teenagers it created a bit of a divide between them. She was not gifted in the ways of the arcane or the Light whereas her brother began training as a Peacekeeper under their father. She wanted to be a warrior as well if only to compete with Tallir. Her mother dissuaded her from this, claiming that she didn't need to fight. Her father sided with her mother. Despite being an adult she wished to not upset her parents anymore or give them any more grief. She went along and ended up helping her mother in her merchant work. It wasn't anything glorious but it took care of her.
When Iluutia was born she found something to do aside from study and be bored out of her mind. She would help take care of her little sister and help to raise her. It wasn't ideal but she found that the little one was adorable if not rather funny to watch. Valamia didn't quite realize how strange toddlers and children could be. This was not a happy life she could hold onto forever. Thanks to Sargeras and the Burning Legion, they were all forced to flee their world. It was thanks to Velen and the Naaru that they managed to get away. Not all of their people managed to escape as her father died on Argus and her brother was heavily wounded. Due to the loss of her husband, her mother went to a downward spiral. It caused Valamia to take the mother role to Iluutia in place of their actual mother. Once Iluutia was considered an adult it left Valamia with a choice on what to do with her life. She pushed Tallir to help train her so she could join the Peacekeepers and help keep things in line, keep people safe and protect the life they were trying to hold onto.
From there things were a strange mixture of good and bad. Throughout her training she met a Vindicator close to her age, Thoiir and began to spend time with him. However between the few other worlds they attempted to stay on for a time she would lose her mother and then Tallir. These loses created a closeness between her and Iluutia as well as gave Valamia a protective streak over her. It also gave her and Thoiir a bit more of a connection. Her and Thoiir would date on and off for the next ten thousand years or so. A common problem they ran into that kept from falling apart being differences in opinion and the fact they were both stubborn people. Iluutia discovered she had an gift for the arcane and began training under a mage scholar though. It made her all the more proud of what family she had left.
Then came their landing on the world that they would call Draenor. Much time had passed and she was a older woman by now. Her and Thoiir, despite their history of break-ups, ended up finding themselves dating again. They were pretty bad at picking up on the fact they might not be marriage material for the other. In general the time on Draenor was not bad. They lived in the city of Shattrath, capital of the Draenei. It was there that Thoiir spent most of his days training new recruits into the ways of the Light and the path of a Vindicator. Valamia by this point had retired from the ways of the Peacekeeper and was attempting to adjust to civilian life. It was not easy as she found herself bored out of her mind most days. Most of the time she found herself training to keep up the strength and muscle memory she had as a warrior.
Thanks to Kil'Jaedan the Orcs were turned into much more vicious creatures and that resulted in the ransacking of the Draenei settlements, including Shattrath. She was forced to flee instead of stay and fight. She was separated from both Thoiir and Iluutia. While lucky to escape with her life, she and a few other survivors banded together to form a camp.
Their camp was small, consisted mostly of those who were civilians with little formal weapon training. Valamia would take a sort of leadership role in making sure they would keep themselves alive by teaching a bit of self-defense and scouting the area around them more often then others. Their camp would have to move frequently and try to keep themselves It was tedious, a lot of them stayed hungry most of the time and it was extremely stressful for everyone in the group. During these times Valamia would also begin to hear whispers. A faint calling from something that she didn't understand and couldn't make sense of. Even on a few nights she would have dreams that left her unsure of what was going on around her when she woke up. With some reassurance from a few in their group they would press onward and look for other survivors. Their group would find a settlement where they could rest and all properly mourn their loses. It would be in this settlement that she would hear a rumor. The former Vindicator Nobundo had become a Broken and that he was taking people in that were hearing "The Elements". Valamia, still bothered by visions and dreams, determined that the best option for her was to go and see him. She spends a few nights unsure of what to do and if it would be right to seek out this man and find out if "The Elements" is what was confusing her so much. One night she would decide that there was no harm in finding out by speaking to him. So she started her quest to meet up with others who would go and see Nobundo.
She and others, both Broken and Draenei, were all gathered to see Nobundo. He was the one to teach them all what Shamanism is. What the world around them is as a Shaman and how to hear and work together with the Elements. They would learn that everything is alive. That to force the Elements would be wrong and would lead down a terrible path. The time among these others who were learning the same as her caused her to start questioning some of her old and traditional beliefs. She began to see the Broken in a different way and also considered that shamanism does not mean that one doesn't serve the Light. When she returned to main encampment she tried to express what happened to Thoiir, who suddenly began to see her in a different light. It wasn't one that caused them to get together. It created a divide between them because he knew shamanism to be the act of the orcs who murdered their people and the Broken who had fallen from the Light.
Once the Draenei took back the Exodar she was one of the them to get to the ship and flee from the planet. As they traveled she and Thoiir finally reached the point where they couldn't stay together. After days of arguments, yelling and many things a person shouldn't say, they went their own ways. Due to the fact the blow-out between them was worse then any they had before and her own conflicted feelings about her new gift, she tried to so into seclusion. At least as much seclusion as one could have in the ship. The traveling didn't last forever as the Exodar crashed on Azeroth. Her awakening from the stasis was a bit later then others and she was more then a bit disoriented. While there were those who were trying to fix their ship and the land around them, she fled to another continent.
In the Eastern Kingdoms she spent a good amount of time around Stormwind. She would hide in the bars and drink as well go out to the forest where she could meditate. This is a habit that would continue until she heard of people going through the Dark Portal again. Despite herself she would seek to aid the Alliance and go through the portal to see the world that she once considered another home. When returning to Outlands she found Shattrath again. She stayed there for a few months, aiding the orphans that were left there and trying to help those left. She was also able to finally confirm that her sister was alive and well. Iluutia had not managed to escape to the Exodar and had been living on the broken Draenor since the fall of Shattrath.
The call of elements began again, this time pulling her to Nagrand. Here she would find some Broken shamans who were attempting to aid the elements and destroy the ones that were corrupted. Valamia began to aid them in this quest. Her progress in learning the art of shamanism and willingness to aid the elements is what gave her a interesting proposal. It was suggested that she join the Earthen Ring. At first she wanted to say no outright. She wanted nothing to do with anything that had orcs in it but she bit her tongue about it. It took about a week of consideration before she said yes. She became a member of the Earthen Ring and so started working more on Azeroth.
During the campaign against the Lich King she didn't go run off to fight against his forces. She spent most of her time in a small camp with others from the Earthen Ring, traveling about and doing what they could for the Elements. Which all things considered turned out to be fairly good for her and her depression regarding her divorce and massive change in her life. It would make her develop a bit of a friendship with a few of the Taurens in the Earthen Ring. She did stay a bit weary of orcs but it seemed a fairly understandable reaction. Much of her lifetime on Azeroth is just that. Wandering and doing what she can to aid the Earthen Ring with those she could stand to work with. The old tauren, Tahul, being the closest friend from the Earthen Ring that she makes.
When the Cataclysm struck and Deathwing began to bring about destruction to Azeroth she was working on dealing with the Twilight Cultists. On the move frequently throughout southern Kalimdor she would be one of the groups that was meant to assist the Cenarion Circle and others in protecting the cities, people and land from being turned into utter ruin. There were countless skirmishes and one of them would be one that leads to her obtaining a massive scar on her the left side of her body. It was also thanks to Tahul and a few other shamans that she lived through her getting struck by lightning. It would take some time camp and a bit of healing before they'd let her go out and about. Ultimately she spent the entire time even up to Deathwing's fall running through Kalimdor with various groups. Protect the land from the cultist, protect people from getting dragged off into the grasps of the cultist. It was her life.
Her downtime, what bits of it she had, would then be spent going to Shattrath and helping out at the orphanage. All the kids there would warm her heart and she would always want to take them home with her. As she didn't have the income and the time to take them all, she had to control herself and just help out there. She had expressed her desire to a select few whom she had worked with in the Earthen Ring. It seemed that they agreed and believed she should adopt one of the children. While she considered it, she ultimately had to back down from her desire to be a mother. She went back to her duties as a shaman and continued to travel. She traveled even as the Alliance and Horde found the new land of Pandaria and brought war to its shores as well. She remained uninterested in yet another war. She was getting too old for it.
As Garrosh continued his campaigns and his ruthlessness, while the war continued to rage on, she was far from the front lines. Instead when she was not somewhere on Kalimdor to perform work she was back near the Exodar and spending time with her sister. When Vol’Jin began to rally the Alliance and the Horde to work together to take down Garrosh she intrigued but unless the Earthen Ring demanded her to go she would stay with her family. Which thankfully she did not receive the call to go off into battle. Finally she gave in. She had been a warrior and she was a person who should help because she had some power. Even if it just a little bit, she knew she should help. She didn't ride into battle but she did find one of the encampments in Durotar and for a time work on healing those who would return from the siege. Healing without concern for faction was not an easy job especially when there were those who would start cursing in pain and frustration. It was not glorious, bloody battle. It was a job and it was a job that needed to be done. Not all lives were saved but she did everything she could. When news of the victory reached her then she would do what she could to be done with her job there and get home. She was eager for some downtime, perhaps even a well-earned rest.
